Job Description :

Under general direction QA/QC Lead and working from policies and objectives, the QA/QC Analyst's responsibility is to monitor quality assurance and quality control activities for the eligibility of Disaster Recovery clients and projects. Review data submitted by both the Housing and Infrastructure section for completeness, consistency and accuracy and ensures case files meet program guidelines and all applicable government regulations. Additionally, the QA/QC Analyst is responsible for the accurate submittal of all applicable set-ups, change orders, and documents in accordance with the Texas General Land Office's requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education / Experience

and/or FEMA disaster recovery funds;
Experience in grants management, quality assurance, or compliance requirements

Job Details

  • An image review clerk will properly identify the license plate number and plate state codes as well as plate type, vehicle type and any plate number prefix and suffixes where applicable. They will use guides for identifying various state plates for all 50 states. A fully trained image review clerk will be able to identify an average of 600 images per hour, while maintaining established accuracy standards.
  • In the case the images need to be rejected because its unreadable, it is necessary to follow the business rules reject disposition reasons for the review project as business rules can be different between those projects. An image review clerk is also responsible to consistently monitor the image quality and system performance and give feedback to their supervisor to assure optimum picture and application quality and performance. The image review clerk may also need to assist with training new clerks.
  • Correctly identify all projects state plates that may include prefix and suffix or plate types.
  • Correctly identify all other state license plates
  • Reject unidentifiable license plates using the correct disposition reasons.
  • After training and learning period – applicant will need to identify 600 images per hour.
  • Monitor picture quality and application performance for potential problems
  • Assist with new clerk training if requested.
  • Other duties as directed by image review supervisor.

Hours: Regular business hours are Mon-Fri - 7:45 a.m. until 4:45 p.m., with a 1 hour lunch. However, during mandatory periods for an election cycle, early mornings, late nights and weekends are required- applicant needs to be flexible. 40 hours a week.

Title: Temporary Election Technician
Payrate: $19 per hour

Scope: Primary responsibility is supporting all aspects of ETC operations. This includes but is not limited to election equipment preparation for an election, delivery of equipment, as well as, receiving equipment after an election. Another key area of responsibility is interfacing with various election officials and providing them with accurate and timely support. This support may be for Federal, State, County or local entity elections.

· Works closely with the Team Leaders in preparing election equipment for specific polling place locations for an election. This includes such task as assembling the correct amount and type of equipment needed at a polling location.

· Works independently or as a team member in fulfilling various tasks.

· Has adequate communication skills and is capable of working with election officials either over the phone or in person to offer support and solutions to election equipment issues.
