Job Description : Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.

  • Designs, codes, tests and debugs documents and maintains those programs.
  • Works on all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
  • Occasionally provides guidance to less experienced analysts and/or programmers. Performs other duties as assigned.
  • The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of work experience in software development. 2+ years of experience in Mobile App development; 5+ years of experience in C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET; and 5+ years of experience in relational database.
  • Must have a high level of competency in programming in the use of, but not limited to, Visual Studio .NET, Xamarin, ASP.NET, C#.NET, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, Python, PHP and other high level languages, programming tools and designing tools.
  • Must be skilled in working with Cascading Style sheet (CSS), designing web page layout and creating user navigation flow.

Job Requirements:
Research, maintain, test and update application configuration in order to ensure the accuracy of operational processes within the system based on business requirements. Analyze and resolve configuration issues in a timely manner. Support and collaborate with all departments. Constant monitoring of the state and federal regulations to comply with the changes. Review application release notes and related change documentation to determine potential impacts on existing business processes supported within the application.

Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
High School Graduate or GED.
3 years Health Care industry experience or application configuration support experience

  • Responsible for performing complex analysis, testing, proof of concept, communication, documentation and implementation of applications supporting, including testing before change pack/application enhancement releases.
  • Resolve daily issues with user’s satisfaction and work with several different business partners.
  • Include HIPAA transaction code sets and custom solutions
  •  Responsible for maintaining knowledge of developments in the healthcare industry and integrates suitable changes in health plan information system operations:
  • Maintain State Medicaid Regulations through bulletins, banners, scan calls, and provider manuals.
  • Monitor TMHP/HHSC, CMS and regulatory agencies to ensure guidelines are followed and configure when applicable
  • Thorough knowledge of application functionality and third party software integration utilizing to its full potential
  • Perform User’s Training, process education, and vendor continuing education.
  •  Design, develop and implement projects/products and configuration to meet CHC business objectives.
  • Include rolling out of new programs and yearly company initiatives
  • User Request and incident tracking
  •  Acquire analytical skills to troubleshoot daily support request. Handle Ticket System in timely manner and resolve within acceptable turnaround time. Any tickets resolve longer than a week will need to be addressed on why and how to do better next time. Be able to test and handle upgrade changes. Be able to test contracts and claims for the updated Fees Schedule when needed
  •  Daily monitor and use incident tracking
  •  Maintain application knowledge base for better support. Reach out to vendor, join workgroups, and contact vendor when needed to resolve issue.
